Since 1939, N.G. Gilbert has performed construction, rebuilds, up-grades,
maintenance and line clearing services for electric power utilities throughout the U.S.
In 1996, N.G. Gilbert was acquired by The Townsend Corporation. Today, N.G. Gilbert operates as the power line
construction arm of The Townsend Corporation. The combination with the company’s other business units creates
a powerful services partner for electric utility companies, wind energy developers and other energy providers.
N.G. Gilbert is affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

- Construction and rebuild of transmission lines 500KV, 230KV, 115KV, 69KV.

- Construction and rebuild of substations and Interconnects of 500KV, 230KV, 115KV, 69KV, and 34.5 KV
- Construction, rebuild, and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines
- Construction of energy collector systems for wind energy projects, including overhead, underground, and substations
