Motors and Wound Components Testing Equipment

Kelley Electric offers custom cabinet design and fabrication and personalized software programming.
Our stator tester and assembled motor testers:

• Operate in manual or automatic mode
• Test single speed or multiple speed single motors
• 3 phase motors up to 12 lead
• Uses PC and PLC controls
• Store setup data as a model
• Store test data for each individual motor for retrieval into file in the PC

Some of our capabilities include:

• Stator tester. Tests the stator for:
  • Hipot up to 5000V and 20ma
  • Surge Test using resonate response from up to 5KV source
  • Resistance using consistent current method
  • Resistance balance for three phase
  • Inductance
  • Reactance
  • Rotation
  • Winding to winding offest
•  Motor Tester. Tests single phase and/or three phase motors for:
  • Amps
  • Watts
  • Volts
  • Amps phase imbalance
  • Rotation direction and/or speed
  • Compares startup criteria to a data bank samples
• Bonder (can be performed in conjunction with stator test)
  • Automatically heats the bondable wire windings to a preset temperature
